Aloha! I am fresh off the plane from paradise and anxiously jotting this experience down so I don’t miss any details. I am worn out and jet lagged, but I am stoked to tell you all about my favorite Hawaii engagement photos during the Wild and Unwritten wedding and elopement worship on the island of Kauai.

First, let me just say – Hawaii is seriously unreal and one of the most beautiful places I have ever gotten to explore.  Everything is so green and lush, just like the movies! The beaches are right out of a magazine with super soft sand and clear blue water.  Being able to shoot with this amazing background was a dream come true for this Texas born girl. 

And don’t even get me started on all the amazing food I ate! Sushi!! Fresh and perfect and delicious! We had to stop at Wishing Well Shaved Ice in Hanalei for a cool snack and even made for a sweet prop! 

This particular shoot was at Tunnels Beach in Haena, Hawaii. Living in Colorado now, I see mountains – but NOTHING like the mountains you see in the background that line this extraordinary coastline.

Not only was the scenery perfect, but ya’ll… This married couple = GOALS.  These cuties were absolutely one of the highlights of my trip! They were so in love, in fact I can still hear them giggle down the beach. 

I will be posting more of my sessions soon, but for now – this was definitely one of my favs.  Gorgeous natural background, soft sand, blue skies, no wind (no humidity either is always a plus), and a perfect couple make for an amazing day in paradise. And of course, I had to drop the camera and take a dip in the water myself!
