Brooke and Brady are from Kansas and had a dream of saying their vows in the middle of the mountains. They had never been to Colorado and knew it would be the perfect place to say “I DO”! Saturday afternoon, Brooke put on her gorgeous wedding dress before we headed up to Sapphire Point Overlook (outside of Breckenridge, Colorado) for a sunset ceremony. This Breckenridge Colorado elopement had the best mountain views and the weather in September was amazing!

Before the ceremony, we stopped for the two of them to have a quick first-look moment. Since Sapphire Point is a popular ceremony site, Brooke thought it would be awesome to have their first look in a different location. Down the road from Sapphire Point Overlook, is a camping ground that sits in a magical valley full of lush grass and a 360 view of the mountains! It’s a perfect spot for any photos in my opinion. Seeing the look on Brady’s face when he saw Brooke for the first time in her white dress was precious! This moment was one of my favorites throughout the whole afternoon!

The ceremony was small, with just their parents and siblings there to celebrate with them. The view at Sapphire Point was breathtaking. I completely understand why this location is so popular! After they said “I DO” and had their first kiss, Brooke and Brady shared a first dance. They were both beaming with love and excitement! I couldn’t help but smile the whole time I photographed the two of them!

We finished the night by going back to the camping ground for Brooke and Brady to read their private vows. I loved the fact that they both wrote personal vows on their phones to read to each other. They laughed and shed a few tears as they spoke to one another. An intimate elopement in the mountains of Colorado was the perfect celebration these two wanted. Needless to say, the afternoon was perfect!
